This guide will help you log in to Microsoft 365. Access and use Office apps. Troubleshoot common issues.
Microsoft 365 provides cloud access to essential applications such as:

How to log in to Microsoft 365
Web access (PC & Mac)
- Open a web browser and go to Microsoft 365 Login
- Click Sign in
- Enter your university email: yourusername@greatermanchester.ac.uk
- Enter your password and click Next
- Approve the login via Duo Mobile (MFA) if prompted
- Once logged in, you will see the Microsoft 365 dashboard
Mobile access (Android & iPhone/iPad)
Download the Microsoft 365 or individual Office apps from:
App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
- Open the app and tap Sign in
- Enter your university email (username@greatermanchester.ac.uk) and password
- Your Microsoft 365 apps are now set up on your mobile device
